Why US Shameless is so shitty compared to the British which is a Masterpiece????!!!

Well in the UK television there was a drama series who stormed BAFTA nominations and won it once. Now it is at its 8th season successful as ever with 22 episodes this year(more than the previous seasons) and a Idiotic American Network called Showtime decided to take this idea and bring it to the simple Americans. The American Frank Galagher isn't so wasted as the original because they tried to use a previous Oscar nominee so the American audience can take him seriously.

He is a only child whose mother is dead and this has made him hate his father instead of the American who is in prison(so typical). He takes Social Security Benefits because he is a single father of 6 children at the start (his wife has left him for another woman trucker driver) .In the pub(bar), that has a lesbian owner , he often takes E pills with his drinks. The only good actor so far is Emily Rossum who plays the elderly child Fiona. In the UK the role of Fiona's boyfriend actually gave his actor the opportunity to become well known, even so to selected to play the Professor X in the new X-men.

Additionally he has a child with the wife of his brother.Lip is still the clever child and Ian the gay one ,although Ian isn't really Frank's child and when he tries to search for his real one he finds that he is as wasted as Frank and accidentally fucks his step brother(runs in the family blood ).
In the UK version the McGuires have big part while in the US version they show them only for a episode and they're Irish cause they are immigrants from the closest island in US.

I didn't understood why they made them Servian-Croatian in Chicago(loooool), If they made em Italian it would have more sense because of Al Capone etc. Finally the stories are so simple that conclude at 2 episodes tops in the US while in UK some run through an entire Season!!!!!!!!One Gallagher to rule them all, One Gallagher to find them,One Gallagher to bring them all and in the darkness bind them!!!!!

I think that the original is much better than the US version. The UK series was much funnier, lighter, and moved story along much better. The US version seems to be over dramatic. The plot develops very slowly, and sometimes it seems that the writers have tried too hard to throw in "shocking" inappropriate bits to try to liven up some shoddy writing.

Also, the traits of the characters are much more interesting in the UK series, while the US characters are more "shocking." For example, Debbie is a very smart, dedicated young girl who does everything she can to keep the family going, unlike the Showtime Debbie. UK Carl is a typical early teen boy who just wants to date, get laid, grow up, and move out, while the Showtime Carl is total white trash that wants to act like a ghetto thug. UK Ian is a character who is just a regular UK blue collar teen who happens to be gay and works hard in the pub, while the US Ian is a gay teen who becomes a gay stripper, gay prostitute, and etc. who cannot hold a regular job for very long.

I like the US version for one reason....It made me check out the UK original. The acting is much better...the US acting on the surface may seem more polished, but should it be? I mean, the characters in both shows are set in poor areas where being polished is not something that people normally are, or can be if they wish to survive.

I thank there both good, but i like the american version more. Maybe its because im an american and i can relate to the cultural differences better. Its hard for me to relate to the UK one because i have a harder time understanding there jokes. I mean there both good, i thank it just depends on which one you saw first and where you saw it,to why you prefer one over the other.

The American Version is so much better. The humor from the original shameless is so dull comparing it to the new one.
