Rehashing ideas...Doomed for (artistic)failure from day one?
06:31
Turin231
It is no news that Hollywood has continuously relied in the rehashing and remakes of previous ideas from books or other mediums. In a cooperate world it is a very good way, unfortunately, to ensure revenue but in the same time complete laziness. There are numerous examples of course of good(even amazing!) adaptations and even some good remakes but usually what you get is just a lazy, stupid joke of a movie. Lately though these remakes have become increasingly more and more irritating. Not because something has changed in this strategy. It is roughly the same as always...But the problem is that the remake wave has begun in this last decade to temper with stuff from my past. Things that actually liked when I was younger and see them ruined right before my eyes...And at the same time actually making money....

Mortal Kombat Legacy
02:22
Turin231
A while ago a new Mortal Kombat mini web series was announced in the wake of the new game. When I first saw the trailer I had mixed feelings. The quality of the cinematography was unique for a youtube web series but the story sounded a little silly. When the first episode came out a few days ago beginning with the introduction of the characters of Jax,Sonia, Stryker and Kano, I was impressed(for a web series). The series is being uploaded in the Machinima channel. It might really worth it after all...

Hobo with a shotgun!!
00:13
Unknown
This movie is the tribute to a cult kind of movies between late 70s and early 80s.We begin with a nostalgic music as the hero gets of the train to hopetown(deleted hope and written scum). He is the usual hobo with his supermarket trailer searching in the garbage for things to trade. And then he gets through with the reality of the cruel drug dealer(boss) of the town as he doesn't care to kill his own brother for the Drake(his name)Show. The skinheads are in rise this period and they have the gore cruel role of hobos whenever they want even in the disco. He saves a prostitute named Abby(gail) but when he gets the evil son of drake in the police the chief of police turns to be a dirty cop and they torture him. Finally after a night at the house of the whore (who didn't fuck her) decides to steal a shot gun and to become the justice of the streets of the corrupted town. The end is very gore as the main character gest killed along with all the other bad guys and his fellow hobos.

CHAOS on the Battle:Los Angeles!
00:22
Unknown
Yesterday I decided to put some CHAOS.Its a comic view to the hard looking CIA which I found very funny.Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services has Office of Disruptive Services in which the director tries putting a mole to cut from the Agency. The most well known is Billy Collins who plays James Murray a actor from the Famous British series Primeval. In general has good story lines and turning points. After my bad fortune I decided to view blockbuster Battle:Los Angeles. In Greek they translated "a Global Invasion".The main character is Aaron Eckhart known from the movie "Dark Knight" as Harvey Dent. The movie smells America. The American hero is a marine who with the help of Michelle Rodriguez beats the aliens. The aliens have made this invasion for the earth's water(lol). Also the change between day and night is very easy, only a few minutes and from night the sun rises hehehehe!!!

Shogun 2 Total War...Back to basics...
18:24
Turin231
A little while ago the new installment on the Total war series came out. After the disappointing Empire I completely gave up in the series which I was an immense fan from the first Shogun. Empire was a disaster. Problematic A.I., overcomplicated mechanics that did not seem to make sense and sea battles that looked cool but never really made sense on how they were supposed to work...And I personally had many technical problems in my system. For me the game was almost unplayable. There were enough people that thought the same I guess, so CA proclaimed that the series would go back to basics by releasing Shogun 2 so many years after the original that begun this series. Oh my were they successful. Shogun 2 has again everything the Total War series had that made it one of the best strategy franchises in gaming history....
